  4. @3#####@1 esting reading...in fact maybe you shouldn't read this if you're a
  5. @3#   #@1 fan of Star Trek, but remember where you heard it first.

  9.          The seventh Star Trek film, officially titled Star Trek:
  10.          Generations, began filming on March 24. Generations will
  11.          focus on Captain Jean-Luc Picard (Patrick Stewart), who
  12.          must rescue Captain James T. Kirk (William Shatner) from
  13.          what sources cited in Entertainment Weekly call a
  14.          ~terribly destructive phenomenon that travels through
  15.          space where past, present, and futures converge.~ Advanced
  16.          word has Kirk dying in the films climax, but inside
  17.          sources are skeptical that Paramount will kill off Trek's
  18.          most beloved character. It's not known which classic
  19.          Trek actors will join Shatner, but Next Generation actors
  20.          Marina Sirtis (who plays Deanna Troy), Johnathan Frakes
  21.          (Will Riker), and Whoopi Goldberg (Guinan) have already
  22.          signed aboard. The magazine said that Rick Berman, the
  23.          film's producer, is confident that the entire Next Gen-
  24.          eration cast will appear in the film.
